Abbey has been part of the Bella Domicile family for the past 17 years. She began her career as a design assistant, progressed to head of the marketing department and is now moving to upper management. Abbey implemented Give Back 2016  that brought Team Bella Domicile together for many volunteer opportunities throughout the Madison, WI area. She has been instrumental in joining forces with United Madison and encouraging other businesses to give back to the community. Abbey is a true believer that “Joy is in the Journey.”

Where are you from? “North Dakota, I have lived in Beach, ND- Fargo, ND- Williston, ND- Grand Forks, ND”

Share with us one unusual thing many people may not know about you? “I learned how to drive on a stick shift pickup.”

Do you have family or pets? “I have 2 kids, husband and 1 cat”

What are a few of your favorite things? “My morning coffee (decaf), my patio, and summer.”

What do you do in your spare time? “Cart my kids around to activities, workout, hang with the hubs”

What is your favorite thing to do in Madison? “Stand up paddle boarding”

What is one piece of advice or statement you want to make about the kitchen & bath industry? “Don’t limit yourself to what the crowd is doing, do what is meaningful to you.”

What kitchen appliance do you use everyday? “the stovetop”

What makes you laugh the most? “Ummm, I laugh the hardest when sitting around the kitchen table with family & friends playing games. Ohh and Ellen DeGeneres.”

What motivates you to work hard? “Probably my kids, I hope that I am setting a good example that you need to work hard to achieve your goals.”

What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play? “I love to play Spike Ball and watch the Olympics or anything my kids are playing”

What’s your favorite holiday? “Summer, is that a holiday…. Christmas or my birthday”

What is the most daring thing you have done? “I jumped out of an airplane once.”

If you had a warning label, what would yours say? “If you mess with the bull, you’ll get the horns.”
